French Door with Landscape Mural
June 09, 2015 at 3:34 AM
I tested my right thumb on a small mural that I had painted of a landscape view through a French window pane door on the door leading to my art room. I was in hopes that my right hand could start painting again, but my right thumb, wrist, and eventually my right arm began to throb while painting. I had painted the landscape part with my left-hand, but have not yet mastered steady straight lines with my left. Because of this, I tested my right hand during the progress of this mural and painted all of the straight and detailed lines with my right. Unfortunately, my right hand and arm throbbed each day after I had finished painting the fine details. Looks like I need to practice painting straight and steady lines with my left-hand! I am hoping my right hand will be healed by August 2015; in the meantime, I am practicing with my left hand!
